A proven knowledgeable tour leader and tour guide with demonstrated skills in travel planning, tour organising, event managing, public relation and problem solving when leading abroad in challenging countries.
When in Venice I don’t offer only the factual information clients expect but also a cultural context that creates a more rewarding experience. I sense the kind of guest in front of me and adapt in no time delivering a tailor-made tour.
When I don’t lead/guide in Italy or abroad, I act as an active member of a theatre company. My passion for theatre is very useful for my profession as I never “lecture” my guests: I actually engage them.
When I don’t act I write, obviously about travel!
I have earned many years of work experience both in Italy and abroad in the area of marketing and communication, public relations and sales, planning and coordination of events, in the fields of tourism, art, publishing and jewellery.
The last assignment before becoming a tour leader saw me as a public relations officer and project coordinator for a marketing and communication agency. Throughout my professional training I came across issues related to social economy, which I have deepened through volunteering in southern hemisphere countries where I delivered my skills as a trainer.
I am very interested in sustainable tourism as the best approach to different cultures: a concept that I have ascertained in my many trips to difficult countries.
During my studies I have always worked, reaching a multi-year experience that allowed me to gain managerial logistic skills -which I trust applicable to other areas- in labour organization, external relations and administration.
In addition, I continue to learn and space across courses and internships and keep the use of foreign languages active with translation and interpreting.
